Wet Ink for violin and piano was commissioned by COMPOSERS INC for its 25^th Anniversary Season and completed in 2008.  Of course the title is a play on Composers, Inc., but it also takes note of this intrepid organization’s articles of incorporation, a celebration of ink-not-yet-dry music, freshly made works launched each season for a quarter of a century and counting.  Wet Ink lasts just a bit under seven minutes and is cast in a back-for-another-year ritornello form.     - Donald Crockett
