Donald Crockett returns to lead the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble (ACE) in the opening weeks of the 2026 Aspen Music Festival, and to mentor the Composition Fellows as a Guest Composer. ACE, conducted by Donald Crockett, will be featured in three Chamber Music concerts to open the season:

July 6, Harris Hall, 4:30pm: Olly Wilson's A City Called Heaven.

July 11, Harris Hall, 4:30pm: the premiere of Donald Crockett's Chamber Concerto for Fl/Vla/Hp and Nine Players, commissioned by the Aspen Music Festival. The soloists are Antonina Styczen, flute, Kate Vincent, viola and Jane Yoo, harp.

July 18, Harris Hall, 4:30pm: Gity Razaz' Metamorphosis of Narcissus.
